What Happens If You Uninstall Segmatic Without Deactivating Your License?

If you uninstall the Segmatic app from Salesforce but forget to deactivate your license first, the system automatically monitors your account activity to prevent unnecessary subscription charges.
Segmatic regularly checks whether your Salesforce org is still syncing data with the app. This helps identify when the app has been uninstalled or is no longer in use.
Here’s what happens after uninstalling:
Summary
| Time Since Last Sync | System Action | Result |
| 1 hour | Billing contact notified by email | Reminder to take action |
| 24 hours | Account deactivated; subscription canceled | Billing stops automatically |
If the Last Sync Date/Time hasn’t been updated in over an hour, Segmatic will send an email notification to your designated admin user.
This message serves as a reminder to either refresh your connection or deactivate your license if you’ve removed the app.
If there’s still been no sync or refresh activity for 24 hours, Segmatic will automatically:
Deactivate your account, and
Cancel your active subscription to prevent further billing.
This ensures your organization isn’t charged for an unused or uninstalled app.
💡 If you plan to uninstall Segmatic, it’s best to deactivate your license first within the app. This helps ensure your data and billing records are updated immediately.
